Team Slayer Tips

I was sitting here and realized that I have 2 give you guys more blogs about Halo. So I'm going 2 start off by telling you good tips on how 2 be successful with kills and hardly an deaths. Well people say that being in a group in Team Slayer is smart and safe. But 2 me there wrong unless if your not 1 of the good players in the game I advice you 2 stay with a partner. The reason why i say that is because lets say you guys are walking around a some dude on the other team has a rocket, he could easily get a killtacular (5 kills) without even trying. That's how I got an Overkill (4 kills). Another tip is try 2 stay on high grounds. And no, I'm not talking about the map either. When I say stay on high grounds I mean be off the actual floor as least as possible because this gives the people above you 2 have a better chance on killing you. A good map example is "Foundry". This map is basically made up of boxes piled over each other like inside the warehouse. When on high grounds many people can easily beat you with a Sniper, Spartan Lazar, or a Rocket because those are 1 shot winners. My last tip is make a plan. The reason why I said that was because you have a better chance of winning. Like lets start with the map "High Grounds". When I start off I don't usually get a Ghost like most people because its 2 risky by getting killed with a good gun 2 early. I usually go for the Spartan Lazar if I'm on the base side so I can eliminate all enemy vehicles and even just enemies till I run out. If I start off on the beach I usually go for the Shotgun and then try 2 get the invisibility so I can sneak into the base without getting caught. So there you have it. The best Team Slayer tips and advice for better game play!

Versus

Well I guess last week proved that the Battle Rifle easily dominates with an amount of 3 votes and the Carbine with 0! But this week I have 2 vehicles. There both owned by the Covenant and have a good purplish and green paint job. There names are the Banshee and the Ghost. Although the Banshee is an air vehicle and has a Fuel rod Gun built in the Ghost is a ground based vehicle that can go into smaller spaces and can splatter way easier. Both are very quick and are very well-known vehicles in the Halo Trilogy. Well you decide, there very close related all that's really different is that 1 is for the air and 1 is for the ground!

!RAMPAGE!

Just a few days ago I was playing on my new Halo 3 Legendary map pack on "Avalanche". The game type was on Heavy and that meant lots of vehicles. So I got into the tank which I've only used once on Team SWAT on "Sandtrap". Well I was driving and on my first kill I got a triple kill and that was cool and all until I realized I got a Frenzy! Once I got a Frenzy I got an overkill and soon got a Running Riot! A bit later after a few double kills I got Rampage which I've never gotten before. I was doing great on my first try on Avalanche with a tank. Then I had 23 kill and was close to a Perfection metal until a dude with a Brute Shot blew up my nearly flaming Scorpion from all the damage. I was on fire but I'm pretty sure that if that I did that good on my first try, I will do good later after some more matches!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I found an egg that is nearly impossible to find even when looking for it when you know its there. First start on the following map "Standoff" in Forge. When you spawn on the map try to get 2 the closest area of the first huge satellite as you can. Once there buy a Sniper Rifle so you can zoom in on it. Then drop as a player, zoom in with your Sniper Rifle, and look at the balcony attached to the Satellite building and you will see a man looking over the balcony seeing what you guys are doing. I guess the shooting caught his attention! (Just 2 let you guys know that it is an actual Bungie employee named "Travis Brady" who works in the 3-D department, and can also be seen on all 3 satellites).

Versus

Last week Over Shield took the lead over Active Camo by 1 vote. But this week I have 2 weapons that I always thought of using on Versus but never really put it up on any blogs. This week we have the Battle Riffle used by the humans and the Carbon which is used by the Covenant. Both of these weapons are considered the same by the affect and distance and speed they shoot. The Battle Rifle is like a miniature Sniper Rifle that has quick bullets and the Carbine is just the same and is like a miniature Beam Rifle and was introduced in the first Halo and is 1 of the most unusual-like weapons in the Halo Trilogy. Well you decide... the Battle Rifle or the Carbine!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I found 1 that can only be spotted on mission "Tsavo Highway. When entering into the first tunnel of the mission where you find drones and brutes look above you and you will find that the highway sign reads checkpoint 8 and crosses out "Rusha"!

Versus

Last week I guess we really cant decide which really had won, the Pelican or the Phantom. But this week I have an item that isn't found in the campaign, nor all of the maps either. These both can help you get a kill with dominance, but aren't a weapon nor a vehicle. There called the Over Shield and the Active Camo. These 2 items were both used since the first Halo, but changed form into a glowing like ball in it's third game. The Active Camo allows a player to sneak up and kill there opponent in a quick advantage or you can come up behind them and assassinate them, or you can use the Over Shield which gives you the ability 2 be twice as strong and get a advantage of possibly 2 kills if you use it right. So you decide which is better, strength or stealth or maybe decide by what color you like more: red or blue!

Legandary Map Pack

Just yesterday I got myself and a little help of my dad loaning me money I just bought a 1600 Microsoft points card. Which will let me get a Halo 3 background and the Legendary Map Pack. This map pack will allow me to have now officially every Halo 3 map/map pack that is out now. And the other good thing is that I have 990 achievement points in Halo 3, and now I will be sure to get some more achievement points since some of the achievements can only be given on Legendary maps!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I have 1 that can be found anywhere as long as there's a Warthog around. If you look close-up on the wheels you will find the Puma logo on there. I guess that the Puma company will be making cars with the shoes in about 500 years in this Halo world.

ODST Exposed

Yesterday I was wondering how many medals I have for Halo, so I went to Bungie.net to see them. Just as I went onto the site the whole web page was different. It was all ODST designed. They had a page that told you what the game was about, but not 2 much 2 tell the whole story. It had a new trailer for the game play, it had files and bios about the characters, told you about some new weapons, and a better recap on the story. And also announced on June 1, by bungie they said they already are going to make another game called "Halo Reach", which they said would release on shelves next fall in 2010!

Versus

Last week on Versus the Arbiter won with 1 extra vote. I guess the 8 foot advanced elite is better than our Spartan Master Chief 117. But this week I have 2 important air vehicles that take a huge role in the trilogies. It's the Pelican and the Phantom. These 2 based like air vehicles are very important in the game. Since both are transportation vehicles the Pelican can bring Spartans and other UNSC marines place 2 place, and the Phantom can bring Grunts, Brutes, Jackals, and other members of the Covenant place 2 place. Both have weapons that can be used like for the Pelican the missile Launcher and the Phantom which has the Plasma Cannon these 2 vehicles are very close alike. Maybe you could even pick which 1 has a better paint job!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I found this on the Internet. I just found it and its as new 2 me as it is for you. Supposedly on mission "Floodgate" if you go to where the dead brute is with a Gravity Hammer and with him is a dead marine with an SMG. If you turn on your flashlight and look down on the ground there is a 'Missing Note" that has a picture and information of a real Bungie employee who went missing of unknown reasons!!!

Close to Thousand

I have 980 achievement points just for Halo 3. I'm very close to 1,000 which will give me the Samurai Sword! This has been my main goal for about a couple months which was followed by me getting the Hayabusa Armor after getting all 13 skulls. I'm wanting to finish getting all of the achievements by activating all of the terminals in the Campaign which will give me 1,020 achievement points. I'm going to keep the Hayabusa Armor since the sword looks best with that armor 2 my opinion.

Versus

OK, this week nobody voted except me. The Mauler won with 100% of the votes. But this week I have a good match. These 2 characters are the best known players in the Halo Universe. They are the Arbiter and Master Chief. There the only one's that their kinds could hope for 2 save their species. But if they went face 2 face you probably couldn't really know. The Arbiter nearly standing 8 foot, good armor, and a Energy Sword he is a very competitive creature that could easily rule the galaxy, but you also have Master Chief. He may stand just a foot smaller than the Arbiter, but he has a unique fighting skill with the gun and his fists. But what if they finally went face 2 face.............. what would happen?!

Xbox Live

You know that when your on Xbox Live you always are waiting for an argument to occur or for somebody to act stupid. I was playing yesterday and these 2 random guys were acting just like Borat. Talking like him and making allot of other people mad. I kept my mouth shut and listened to the argument between Borat and an 10 year old! Mainly I don't use my headset on Matchmaking with random people because some young kid starts talking trash and that always leads to an argument. Sometimes though I do use my headset if I'm playing a Capture the Flag match to set up a plan like someone drives the warthog or a mongoose and the other one goes with them and retrieves the flag, or if I'm playing with my friends on Live just because there my friends. But allot of times it is fun just to get into the argument and make the other person mad just to do it and make them personally quit because you annoyed them to much.

Easter Egg

This week on Easter Eggs this time you can find it on the map called Last Resort. Some people know it and others don't. If you go to the beach and face the ocean and look up into the sky to the left you will see an image of Master Chief up in the clouds shaped as if he is flexing. This Easter Egg is very popular and I wouldn't be surprised if you new about it.

Versus

Sorry for being a day late for the Versus blog. We just got the Internet back at my moms house today and I will now be able to give you the blogs at the right time. But anyways Call of Duty 4 won with an extra vote compared to Halo 3. I had a few friends who would of voted for Halo 3 but they forgot to do that. But this week on Versus I have 2 similar weapons. The Shotgun which is owned to the UNSC and the Mauler which is owned to the Covenant. I know the Shotgun could kill anyone with 1 shot, but the Mauler can do just as much when your carrying 2 of them at the same time. So you decide between these fast killing weapons and I will tell you the results next week.

Great News

Sorry guys for not putting the usual blogs that I have every week but my dads job schedule changed, so now I will be with him only on Saturdays now. But that doesn't matter because I'm getting Internet back at my moms house on Sunday tomorrow. So starting on Monday the weekly blogs will be going back to normal. So that means Versus on Monday, Easter Eggs on Wednesday, and Bungies Weekly Update on Friday like usual. Which will mean I will be giving you guys extra blogs I hear about on Bungie and the Halo Universe!!!

Bungie Weekly Update

This week on "Breaking In" we have Jason Sussman. He is a Finishing Artist, which means he takes early architect versions of the environments and makes them look even better, prettier, and more realistic. Besides work, he likes movies, drawing, music, and gaming. He originally wanted to be a special effects artist, but he likes what he has now at Bungie. He also wanted to be a fireman or a doctor but that was when he was 5. If you want to read more go onto Bungie.net to get the full story!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I have a hidden glitch that can only be found on High Grounds. Its Cortana! When playing Halo 3 on High Grounds go into the building with half of its wall broken down and walk up to the computer sitting on the desk. If you zoom in on it and keep watch for a few minutes and then Cortana appears on the bottom hand screen of the computer. She only lasts on the screen for not even 2 seconds so keep constant attention until you see her. If your still confused where that is at go on YouTube.com and watch the video of where its at.

Versus

OK, well I guess its an easy decision on what won last weeks Versus. The Sniper Rifle with 80% of the votes and the Beam Rifle with 20%, I guess the people like the Sniper Rifle more with its non overheating waste time and steady shooting. But this week I'm going to give you guys probably the biggest Versus blog than any other Versus blog ever. This week I'm using the top 3 most played games, they also have the game of the year award, and have the most amount of people playing their game than any other games on Xbox Live! Its Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Call of Duty 4. These 3 shooting games are the most played games on Xbox Live, there not just good for there graphics but for their shooting capability and its addicting story lines. These successful trilogy games are going down to be the favorites on Xbox 360 history in the future. But you decide on what is better: Call of Duty 4's realistic present wars that are going on now, Halo 3's addicting future wars with aliens, or Gears of War 2 with its down and dirty, unique blood and gory fighting skills. Well you decide what you think is better between these future games of history!

Bungie Weekly Update

I know that the "Breaking In" updates aren't Bungie's Weekly Update, but since the computer at my moms is shut down I cant use it, unless I go to my dads house and do my blogs there for a while. But since I'm not at my dads on Friday afternoons I cant give you the Weekly Update. So just until our computer starts working I will give you guys the "Breaking In" updates. But this week we have a man named Seth Gibson. Seth is a Technical Artist which sets between art and engineering. His main hobby is weight lifting since all he says he does is sit in front of a desk from 8-10 hours a day so he likes weight lifting to move his body around. He started at Bungie in 2007, his friend introduced him to the Bungie crew. But in a few months that crew was his boss. He says he enjoys working with the Bungie industry and they need artists with a good imagination. He says as long as you want to work here you have to have good confidence and like to have fun and express what would help this industry to make it better.

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I have a not so much known 1 that is found on the last mission "Halo". Its to hard on how to explain how to reach it but I will tell you that it is a man in his boxers jumping up and down. Im sorry but it is veryhard to find a good picture of it but if you want to see this Eater Egg go onto YouTube.com and type anything related to Easter Eggs or anything to do with a man in Halo T-Bagging.

Versus

So for a while I will be giving my blogs to you guys on Wednesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's since I don't have the Internet back yet at my moms house. But if some of you want to read why I don't have it check the blog below this 1. Last week on Versus it was a tie again, but 2 extra people voted, now were making some progress, to me I like the Banshee so we couldn't see who really won but hopefully soon more people will visit this site. OK so anyways this week on Versus I have 2 very deadly weapons that easily can kill anything with just 1 head shot if you do it right. There is 1 for each side of the war, 1 for the Covenant and1 for the UNSC. Their names are the Beam Rifle and the Sniper Rifle. Each of these weapons are about the same when it comes to damage, but what are their effects? Well the Beam Rifle may shoot quick, but after 2 quick shots with it you could overheat it and slow you down, while the Sniper Rifle doesn't have overheating and has a good shooting time. This week its all about time with these weapons.

Just For a While

Still our computer at my moms house isn't working. We refused to pay the bill because they said we didn't pay it. They want us to pay again and we said no and I will get Internet back in a few weeks when the next payment is due. So since I'm able to use my dads computer at his house every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. That's when I will give you my blogs like Versus, Easter Eggs, and Bungie's Weekly Update.

Bungie Weekly Update

This week on Bungie we have a man named Mat Noguchi. Noguchi is a Senior programmer responsible for the unexpected, whether its figuring out why throwing a grenade when jumping off the Pelican crashes the game, making the game load faster for artists, or helping designers figure out how to reduce loading time. Basically, anything that someone else isn't officially responsible for in the game. He started at Bungie in the year 2000 in December. In that time he was 6 months into his first full-time job as a programmer in Visual Studio. Soon after being bored of that his mentor told him he should get into game programming. So when he saw an empty seat for a tool programmer for Halo, he took the test, aced it, got the interview, and here he is. He managed to write the level editor for Halo 1, upgrade the sound engine and provided some clutch work for Halo 2, and wrote the caching engine for Halo 3.

If you want to read more go onto Bungie.net to see what brought Mat Noguchi to where he is now.

Master Chief?

Ive seen these pics a few times, but I always wondered if they were true or if someone was just messing around and wanted to do a joke and question people like me. Is this really the Master Chief that's hidden behind that helmet, or is it just a random computer graphic? Please leave a comment or a message to tell me what you think.

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I have a special 1 that is only found on Sand Trap. Some of you have probably heard of it before, its called the Dav Vinci Egg. For the people who saw the Dav Vinci Code you should remember the Egg. For those who haven't, it had many sides with different symbols on each. You can only find it on forge and its near the giant Guardian that is beside the space carrier up in the sky. I have never seen it myself but can be found on YouTube or any other sites that can show videos. I can tell you how to get it on what I've seen on videos but it would take to long, so see it yourself by going on YouTube and typing anything like Dav Vinci Egg on Sand Trap or something related to that and you should find it.

Versus

This week on Versus I'm using 2 vehicles. There is 1 for each side of the war. 1 for the Covenant and 1 for the UNSC. There both air vehicles and can give anybody an easy killing spree and even a killing frenzy if you know how to use them well enough. Their names are the Banshee and the Hornet. Although the Banshee has a better paint job to my opinion and can fly quicker, the Hornet has a turret and can carry a group of 5 people including yourself as the pilot or the passenger. At the end it would be a very interesting battle against these 2 dominant flying vehicles.

Once Again

Sorry guys for not getting the Versus post up this week on time like last time. Last week I got in trouble and now are cable isn't working. Not that we cant pay it, its just that Bright House said we didn't pay are electric and we did before we went to Orlando on vacation. So I'm using my friends computer today and I will hopefully be able to post it today if I have enough time. But anyways it was a tie against the Gravity Hammer and the Energy Sword. To my opinion I like the Energy Sword because I like the feeling when you kill somebody with it and that it doesn't take up half of your screen like the Gravity Hammer.

Disney Vacation

Today I'm leaving to go on vacation at Disney World in Orlando for a couple days. I will be back on Monday to give you guys more blogs since the hotel I'm going to doesn't have a computer. I wont be here for Friday so just go on Bungie.net to see the weekly update there. So again I will be back by Monday to give you guys the weekly "Versus" blog.

Easter Eggs

OK, this week on Easter Eggs I decided to put up something that maybe you guys probably know about but for those who do keep reading, there called cavemen. In the mission Sierra 117, when defeating the first big crowd of aliens at the loading dock where the snipers shoot across the riverside go back into the jungle where there are some more snipers lurking on top of trees and rock ledges, just keep following through the jungle on the left side and you will come across a rock ledges stick close to them and make sure to eliminate all the snipers in the area. After that climb higher up and there ledges and you will come across a couple of cavemen and 1 of them is holding a teddy bear!!! There is also another caveman at the other loading dock where there holding Johnson hostage at. Its right where the skull is at in that mission. Your going to need at least 3 people to find this caveman, once you get into the corner where the skull is at climb on top of 1 another. Once that's done do a jump combo where you all jump on top of 1 another into the air very high, once you land on the top, just walk further on the rooftop and you will find a caveman up against a rock hiding. If you guys have no clue what I'm talking about look at these pics to get a better idea or leave a comment and I will answer as best of my abilities to answer your questions.

Versus

Sorry about not putting up my Versus blog on Monday. I got in trouble so I couldn't use the computer for a couple of days. So today I will be giving you guys Versus and Easter Eggs since today is Wednesday. So anyways for Versus I used 2 very close related weapons that are very dangerous up close and face to face. There both are owned by the Covenant side and are very powerful and can kill in a swing if close enough. Their names are the Gravity Hammer and the Energy Sword. The Gravity Hammer is very unique for that it could damage you even if you don't touch them with it. There kind of like a grenade. You don't need to hit them just get close enough and with just 2 swings you would be dead. The Energy Sword on the other hand may not affect you without touching you but can kill you with its easier aim. The Gravity Hammer nearly takes up half of your screen space when roaming with it and it can get kind of annoying. So please tell me your personal opinion by posting a comment or by voting at my poll that is on the upper right hand corner of this blog.

Also Wednesday

Today I just added something else to the weekly blogs. Now with "VS" and "Bungie's Weekly Update" is now "Easter Eggs". Every week on Wednesdays I will bring you this new blog that tells you hidden objects better known as Easter Eggs in the Halo 3 campaigns and its maps. Most of you probably seen some Easter Eggs in the game of Halo 3. I will show you the first Easter Egg this Wednesday as soon as possible. I think it was good timing to call it Easter Eggs since tomorrows Easter!

Bungie Weekly Update

Today on Bungie.net, a man named Michael Wu is part of an environmental art team in the video game world. Before working at Bungie, Wu was still in the gaming industry back in ,98. His job was a larger company focused on a corporate agenda with fairly restrictive licensing agreements. That said, he had really great people there whom he still enjoy talking to and hope to work with again someday. When he first started in Bungie he was first a level designer and then became an environmental artist when the Oni team merged with the Halo team back in early 2001. Their team doubled in size with each subsequent project and he now serves the team as its manager. So instead of creating art work directly, he helps the team get things done and make sure each artist has a clear and exciting career path to explore. If problems arise in project scope, tools, scheduling, or personnel, its his job to get people together and fix it. If you want to read the full story go onto Bungie.net to see.

Rumors of Halo 4

Yes, its true. On IGN.com there is a big story about rumors of Halo 4. Supposedly the game starts off at the end of halo 3, when the elites, now allies with the humans, planned to return home. Arriving there, they find that covenant survivors have claimed the planet as their own. The marines are notified, and gladly help the elites to take their home back, in thanks for helping mankind. The 2 forces preform a joint attack on the covenant prime base, starting a huge battle. Then..............sorry if you want to read more go onto IGN.com to see the full story.

Monday's and Friday's

On every Monday and Friday I will be posting special blogs on those days so you guys have something to look forward to. On every Monday I will be having a blog called Versus. Versus will be a poll/voting blog where I will give you guys specific things in the game of Halo 3 that would be very interesting if they went face to face. It could be what map you think is better. What weapon is stronger, or it could be what vehicle is the most dominating on the field. So the possibilities are endless. Then on every Friday I will post up Bungie's weekly update on my blog so if you guys were looking at something you could just scroll up and look at the update from here.

Best Map in Halo 3

High Grounds is my favorite map. Most of my friends that I have mostly like Guardian. I hate Guardian for that it has really not that good of weapons on the map except for the shotgun and the gravity hammer. But High Grounds does. The reason why I like High Grounds so much is that it has good weapons and a good background theme. I mainly like outdoor maps for that you feel like you have more space to roam around in. The weapons I like there is the shotgun, spartan laser, the mauler, the sniper rifle, and so on. It also has some good sniping places that I like where not to many people know about. But I will tell you the spots. Many people that start off at the beach just go sniping where the over shield is. Not saying its a horrible spot, its just an original spot that people know about and can kill you quick and the tree branches are in the way of your sniping space also. My 3 favorite places to snipe on High Grounds are: 1, on top of the canopy on either end inside the base (the only way you can get up there is by getting a grav lift and droping it under the hole so you can jump up through the hole and land on top of the canopy). 2, on the rock ledge between the beach and the base and 3, right on top of the missle pod launcher at the end of the base.

Who is Quilo

That's me, I'm a fourteen year old who lives in Florida. My real xbox live name is oQUILOo. I made this blog purposely to talk about the xbox360 and its #1 game...Halo 3, and updates from Bungie. This is pretty much my first blog and I will see how it will go. I will add a new blog mostly every day to keep it up to date and keep you guys well entertained. Please leave comments and ideas you have for this website to make it more interesting and can improve its popularity. Remember if you want to be my friend, my name is oQUILOo. (its lowercase o's not a zeros)
