Team Slayer Tips

I was sitting here and realized that I have 2 give you guys more blogs about Halo. So I'm going 2 start off by telling you good tips on how 2 be successful with kills and hardly an deaths. Well people say that being in a group in Team Slayer is smart and safe. But 2 me there wrong unless if your not 1 of the good players in the game I advice you 2 stay with a partner. The reason why i say that is because lets say you guys are walking around a some dude on the other team has a rocket, he could easily get a killtacular (5 kills) without even trying. That's how I got an Overkill (4 kills). Another tip is try 2 stay on high grounds. And no, I'm not talking about the map either. When I say stay on high grounds I mean be off the actual floor as least as possible because this gives the people above you 2 have a better chance on killing you. A good map example is "Foundry". This map is basically made up of boxes piled over each other like inside the warehouse. When on high grounds many people can easily beat you with a Sniper, Spartan Lazar, or a Rocket because those are 1 shot winners. My last tip is make a plan. The reason why I said that was because you have a better chance of winning. Like lets start with the map "High Grounds". When I start off I don't usually get a Ghost like most people because its 2 risky by getting killed with a good gun 2 early. I usually go for the Spartan Lazar if I'm on the base side so I can eliminate all enemy vehicles and even just enemies till I run out. If I start off on the beach I usually go for the Shotgun and then try 2 get the invisibility so I can sneak into the base without getting caught. So there you have it. The best Team Slayer tips and advice for better game play!

Versus

Well I guess last week proved that the Battle Rifle easily dominates with an amount of 3 votes and the Carbine with 0! But this week I have 2 vehicles. There both owned by the Covenant and have a good purplish and green paint job. There names are the Banshee and the Ghost. Although the Banshee is an air vehicle and has a Fuel rod Gun built in the Ghost is a ground based vehicle that can go into smaller spaces and can splatter way easier. Both are very quick and are very well-known vehicles in the Halo Trilogy. Well you decide, there very close related all that's really different is that 1 is for the air and 1 is for the ground!

!RAMPAGE!

Just a few days ago I was playing on my new Halo 3 Legendary map pack on "Avalanche". The game type was on Heavy and that meant lots of vehicles. So I got into the tank which I've only used once on Team SWAT on "Sandtrap". Well I was driving and on my first kill I got a triple kill and that was cool and all until I realized I got a Frenzy! Once I got a Frenzy I got an overkill and soon got a Running Riot! A bit later after a few double kills I got Rampage which I've never gotten before. I was doing great on my first try on Avalanche with a tank. Then I had 23 kill and was close to a Perfection metal until a dude with a Brute Shot blew up my nearly flaming Scorpion from all the damage. I was on fire but I'm pretty sure that if that I did that good on my first try, I will do good later after some more matches!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I found an egg that is nearly impossible to find even when looking for it when you know its there. First start on the following map "Standoff" in Forge. When you spawn on the map try to get 2 the closest area of the first huge satellite as you can. Once there buy a Sniper Rifle so you can zoom in on it. Then drop as a player, zoom in with your Sniper Rifle, and look at the balcony attached to the Satellite building and you will see a man looking over the balcony seeing what you guys are doing. I guess the shooting caught his attention! (Just 2 let you guys know that it is an actual Bungie employee named "Travis Brady" who works in the 3-D department, and can also be seen on all 3 satellites).

Versus

Last week Over Shield took the lead over Active Camo by 1 vote. But this week I have 2 weapons that I always thought of using on Versus but never really put it up on any blogs. This week we have the Battle Riffle used by the humans and the Carbon which is used by the Covenant. Both of these weapons are considered the same by the affect and distance and speed they shoot. The Battle Rifle is like a miniature Sniper Rifle that has quick bullets and the Carbine is just the same and is like a miniature Beam Rifle and was introduced in the first Halo and is 1 of the most unusual-like weapons in the Halo Trilogy. Well you decide... the Battle Rifle or the Carbine!

Easter Eggs

This week on Easter Eggs I found 1 that can only be spotted on mission "Tsavo Highway. When entering into the first tunnel of the mission where you find drones and brutes look above you and you will find that the highway sign reads checkpoint 8 and crosses out "Rusha"!

Versus

Last week I guess we really cant decide which really had won, the Pelican or the Phantom. But this week I have an item that isn't found in the campaign, nor all of the maps either. These both can help you get a kill with dominance, but aren't a weapon nor a vehicle. There called the Over Shield and the Active Camo. These 2 items were both used since the first Halo, but changed form into a glowing like ball in it's third game. The Active Camo allows a player to sneak up and kill there opponent in a quick advantage or you can come up behind them and assassinate them, or you can use the Over Shield which gives you the ability 2 be twice as strong and get a advantage of possibly 2 kills if you use it right. So you decide which is better, strength or stealth or maybe decide by what color you like more: red or blue!
